Volatility location. The envelope shows whether the swing is stretched or compressed. SMA 89 and SMA 200 pin medium- and long-term balance. An outer-band touch is location. It is not an automatic reversal.

What you are missing without it

Trading every extension as if it were the same. Bands keep the Suite honest about stretch versus balance — so Pulse heat and Flow targets have a place to live.

How it sits in the Suite

Bands are the optional location layer in Full Suite and the backbone of HLX Basic. They do not create or invalidate Flow. They tell you where you are in the envelope.
